We offer unique parties for birthdays, hen parties, and special get togethers in all disciplines, and for all abilities!

Located in the city centre, Leeds Aerial Arts offers a variety of classes in aerial hoop, sling, trapeze, and aerial yoga. We have classes suitable for every ability – from those who have never so much as touched a hoop to the experienced circus performer.

What is aerial?

Aerial is a collection of acrobatic based skills including lyra (aerial hoop), silks, trapeze, sling, and aerial yoga. All genres offer a physical challenge as well as testing your courage! Traditionally performed in the circus, the aerial art forms are now a popular choice for those looking for an alternative physical challenge, and can be accessed by all, regardless of your previous levels of strength.

Aerial offers a fantastic full body workout designed to build strength, muscle tone and increase flexibility, it is a fab way of getting fit and having fun at the same time… so what are you waiting for?

Adult Parties

From hen parties to birthday celebrations, we offer individually tailored packages to make it a day to remember.

Choose from an aerial hoop, aerial sling or aerial yoga class for you and up to 11 of your nearest and dearest. If your group consists of more than 12 people, we will provide an additional instructor so everyone will have the chance to get involved!

One of our friendly and qualified instructors will teach you all the fundamentals on your chosen equipment, including the basic mounts, elegant shapes and a gorgeous routine tie together everything you have learnt within your session.

Prices start from £15pp and each class last 90 mins.

Children’s Parties

We know it can be tricky to come up with a unique party idea, but we are hear to put a little circus magic into your next event! Forget the bouncy castle and book a Circus Du Soleil style party to celebrate your budding aerialists birthday in style.

Choose between an aerial hoop or trapeze class which is suitable for ages 7+ years with groups of up to 12 (for larger groups, an additional instructor will be provided), everyone will learn some super cool shapes and flows which will be the talk of the playground for weeks to come.

All sessions last 60 minutes and don’t forget to get as many snaps as you can to share with all your friends and family.

To save you some time, we’ve put together some of your most frequently asked questions. If there’s something you want to know that we haven’t mentioned, please get in touch!

Where is the studio?

We are located at the Cross York Street Studios, Cross York Street, Leeds, LS2 7EE. Press the buzzer for Studio 2 to gain entry.

How much does it cost and how long is the class?

Typically, Adults sessions are £15pp for a 90-minute class and childrens sessions £12pp for a 60-minute class. However, we are able to offer bespoke packages if you are looking for something different, just get in touch.

What should I wear?

Comfortable leggings, appropriate underwear, and a fitted top. Loose clothing is likely to get caught or tangled so try to avoid anything too baggy. Please ensure that your clothing covers the backs of your knees (no shorts). For your feet, socks or bare feet – you will not require trainers.

I have no upper body strength, will I still be able to take part?

Everyone has to start from somewhere right? We promise you will be pleasantly surprised by how much you will achieve in your first session. Your instructor will tailor the session to your ability, either offering strengthening exercises to build your aerial muscles, or adding progressions for those who arrive with a little more strength.

Can I take photographs?

We encourage you to take as many pictures as you like so long as it’s not distracting to the instructor or person using the equipment.

Is there parking available?

There are lots of places to park nearby. We recommend parking on Wharf Street, The Calls, or for longer stays, Maude Street Car Park (LS2 7DR).

Can I bring a cake?

Yes of course – we’ll even light the candles for you! – Just ask your instructor in advance.
