Pilates strengthening, with an aerial twist!
Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on whole-body strength and flexibility. Regular Pilates can improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility, as well as relieve stress and tension. FLYING Pilates uses the aerial hammocks to offer a new challenge to the traditional pilates exercises, and support in the trickier ones!
Our all-abilities Pilates classes welcome those looking for a weekly strengthening session that is low impact yet high intensity! Ideal for all, this class includes exercises that have multiple levels so that you can work at (or at the upper end!) of your comfort zone.
The low-impact nature of Pilates strengthening makes it ideal for anyone looking to build strength for aerial, or alternatively if returning to exercise after an injury. Suitable for all, Pilates at Leeds Aerial Arts will leave you feeling an inch taller as you glow into the rest of your week!
Join Emma every Thursday at 6:15pm for Pilates on the mat, and take to the air with Lorna 12:30pm on Saturdays in Flying Pilates.
